T.R. Hughes, a well-known and respected builder won that top honor eight years in a row.

Tom Hughes, a former St. Charles police officer, began his company building homes in the St. Charles area and has never looked back.

“St. Charles is our home,” he said, “and we appreciate and cherish the support and loyalty the St. Charles area residents have shown us over the years.”

Currently, T.R. Hughes Homes has three communities for home shoppers, offering a variety of homestyles and price ranges.

St. Andrews in St. Charles off West Clay near Zumbehl Rd. offers single family homes from the low $200s, and villas from the $160s and townhomes from the $130s.

Hampton Woods in O’Fallon offers single family homes from the $190s, and Riverdale in St. Paul offers single family homes from the $150s.
